Just some News from an Student

Well, I don’t want to Release more Information on the Internet, but I have some news. It’s about what I have experienced in a Public School.

The first one is: a World History Teacher telling his students that Jesus actually didn’t want to make a church, and trying to explain the events were Moses took the Israelites out of Egypt. And that the pope could control the royalties and mighty if he threatened with excommunication.

The second one is a piano teacher showing her students three videos about practicing Mindfulness, but with a twist: promoting meditation. Yoga.
So, but I don’t want to paint her all bad and black. She told us before that the school warntet us to see those videos.

I just write this down to release some… how you call it… this feeling is similar to Jesus feeling when Judas sold him. Or when peter denied him. You know, DEEP BITTERNIS.
I am not even sure if I am doing the right thing to release this for that.

But here you can see how public and nondenominational Schools are these days. Ok, I don’t know about most of them, but I had similar events in one other school.

And I don’t want to just paint public schools black. Because my first good Math teacher came from one. And a good World History teacher. And I also had bad experience in a catholic school.

So, please don’t come angry or so at me because I release it all here. If u can please show me how to release such things peacefully. Now I write.

Maybe this should be moved to Casual Discussion. It is not really World News.
 
I moved it to Spirituality since it seems to be about spiritual topics or at least the first post is.

Jellyfish - the News section is for people to post and discuss news stories from the media.
Not “news” about some happening in their own life.
 
My bad. I don’t know. They moved it, so yes. It is not in News anymore
 
I mean… this is really bothering me.
And I did read about some Yoga teacher that began to hear voices and so I naturally think that promoting Yoga is not just promoting some ancient meditations or so, but that it’s worse.

I even read about Buddhism so I got an general understanding of what they believe. I am surely not an Expert, or not even an beginner in studying these things, cause I am not on the way to study them, but the people I met who promote Yoga don’t seem to know about the connection to Buddhism. Or when they do- don’t really seem to know about the purpose of Yoga and why it was invented.

Edit: And if u search Yoga into the search bar here, there’s a huge talk going around, and so fort. I don’t think that Yoga is compatible with Christian teaching. Just look up of what it consists and so on.

This is just to have a talk or so. I already requested prayer so I won’t be posting that much later on, because I will be helped.

The first time I ever knew anything about meditation or yoga or anything even similar was in 3rd grade… and our PE teacher had us doing it during PE classes. She was a nun. I went to a Catholic school. 😉
