Just where did Catholicism begin in the Bible?

Hello;
With all the publicity of the Pontiff being in an extreme state of living and close to death, I would like to know where Catholicism begins in the Bible. I am an obvious Protestant, but am still searching for the Glory that comes from The Almighty Father. I hope that I haven’t offended anyone. I am simply curious.

Short answer at pentacost. Brief outline of the covenants -
first was Adam, a husband and the covenant was marriage. Then came Noah, a father and it was a family or household covenant. Next cam Abram, a chief and God’s family became a tribe. Moses, a judge over the nation of God’s family and then David, the king over the kingdom and the last (new and everlasting covenant) was Jesus our Royal High Priest for the whole world or universe. So God’s plan of salvation was a growing of His family from a marriage, to a famly, to a tribe then a nation , a kingdom and then the whole world. God’s family is universal (katholikos in greek) or catholic - for the whole world.

Looks like someone is studying the Bible Timeline. Am I correct?
 
Actually from A Father Who Keeps HIs Promises, God’ s Covenant Love in Scripture by Scott Hahn. Scott and Jeff Cavins joined efforts in the Bible Time Line/ Salvation History and do a great job of gving the BIG picture of how God was growing His family. Have you done the study?

A more specific authorization of Peter’s Teaching Church of Christ:***
Jn 21:15*** …Feed my lambs. 16 … He saith to him: Feed my lambs. 17 … He said to him: Feed my sheep.

Now ONLY if you are a lamb or sheep of Jesus Christ are you going to be fed BY Peter. Since Peter is long dead and only left a couple of letters and some remarks recited by Luke in Acts, someone had to continue Peter’s Thrice command by Jesus. Otherwise, you have NO WAY of being fed by Peter as Jesus commanded.
**So, how are you a Lamb or Sheep of Jesus if you are not fed by Peter?
**Peter’s only written feeding to the sheep about Scripture is that :
2 Peter 1:20 Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation. 21 For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.
2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
Peter appointed his successor and the rest is Catholic (Universal) Church of Christ history. Eventually, Peter’s successor came up with 27 books that he defined as the NT of the Church of Christ. His name was Damasus I in 382 (long wait for a bible of 27 writings - lots of sheep fed without it). His determination of the # of books and what they were is what you hold dear today. So, at least in that regard you have been fed by Peter by obeying his authorized successor who carries on the feeding of Jesus sheep until the consummation of the world.
If you have a better idea of perfectly maintaining “that they may be one” unitl the end of the world, I’d be glad to hear it.

THe whole Bible is related to the catholic church like others have said Scot Hahn has a Good book about this.

Half way through it. For longer readings we take a couple of weeks to complete the reading.
