You don’t have to argue with him about everything all at once and everyday. Constant arguing probably only reinforces his beliefs to himself that they may be right. Its a long road that you will have to take to use your love and be a model to show him the errors.

It would be sad if put in that situation if he did choose to follow the blood doctorine (IMO a selfish decision) and you did lose a husband or future father to your children or worse if he were to be put in the role to make that decision for your future children. That realization hit me HARD when my wife chose someone else (not me) to be the one to make that decision if it were to ever occur to her because she knew I wouldn’t follow the WTS. It was in a way, the beginning of the end.
Sad thing is we had this arguement already (note I said argument and not discussion). I tried to talk to him about this and it turned to an argument. He has his sister and one of the elders as the ones who’d make a decision. I also pointed out that he’d be very selfish if he ever decided to refuse a treatment. I did point out “what if we had children, what if you were to die and leave me all alone?”

Hope the arguing stops. I HATE it.

I don’t think in any marriage the arguments really ever stop. 😉

But these are serious issues that you will have either as long as you are married or until he realizes how invalid the WTS is. Sadly, if you or I were wise enough we would’ve settled all that before we took our big leaps. Don’t beat yourself up too bad for discussing these issues with him - just try to be honest and repress the anger (something this hypocrite giving advice had a hard time with also).

To be clear- my comment of murderers was directed in response to that podcast where we learn that certain people had “treated” the girl with arsenic and as a result she died.

That smells and looks like murder to me. She died. She was given arsenic.
She died.

Dial M for Murder.

As far as anyone else is concerned, well I say if you are an adult and you chose to embrace this cult, great. But if the child (who cant even be given baptism as an infant “because they dont understand” - can die for THEIR religious beliefs, sorry that is murder in my book.)

the closest being a catholic could do to injure a child is them getting sore knees from the kneelers.

I did not expect a response to this post.

I await one.
