JWs, Lawsuits, and Blood Transfusions

How sad that so many witnesses no doubt died due to no blood - before this “new light” came out.

Very very sad.
 
How sad. I never knew JWs allowed organ transplant but not blood transfusion?? How even more odd.

Devout JWs are just going to take this in stride I fear. They will find a way to rationalize that their elders are still right. Again, how sad. :crying:

I’m not sure if this is true but I was told that JW’s ONLY allowed organ transplants when the wife of one of the “governing body” needed one? Maybe Jeff can verify that?

At the time I bailed / got kicked out about 20 years ago organ transplants were left up to the consciences of the person with the exception of heart transplants. Those were still a no-no. Unsure if that has changed.
