Other than that he is a good guy and the Gospel for Asia agency does wonderful work, often under difficult circumstances.
Many are converted, many become missionaries (the missionaries are all natives if possible), and martyrdom is not uncommon. The missionaries and the teachers in the schools live very simply and sacrificially and are an example to us all.
Personally I’d prefer to support (financially) Catholic mission groups, but of the Protestant ones I’d have to say that GFA would be near the top of the list.
I’m on their Email mailing list and they get my support in prayer when requested if not the finances. The Emails sent out are regularly requests for prayer for imprisoned/kidnapped missionaries or for non-christian and anti-christian areas of Asia that need praying for urgently. Very good stuff.
