is he a good one well a good philosophers that we should look to on ethical situations

we are going over him in my ethics course

Kant is certainly not a bad philosopher. His positions on Ethics are reasonable and well justified. He discussed a physical teleology of morality terminating in God; so he is certainly congruent with theistic belief.

If you have not read his three critiques (Pure, Practical reason; Judgement). I’d reccomend these three as a good place to start if your looking into Kant.

He’s not my favorite philosopher; but he is certainly one you can’t ignore.
