Keeping the Faith

Hi guys, so I have a friend that is going through nursing school right now. Tonight at dinner she said she doesn’t want to do it anymore because she feels like she’s losing her faith in God especially after working PEDS, and OB rotations and seeing all the tragedy that goes on. I know that she really loves being a nurse, but I don’t want her to lose her faith either. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good books I could buy her to help her gain some new perspectives to help her with her decision…

Wow! I don’t know of any books, but can you tell your friend that the medical profession is in DIRE need of good faithful followers of Christ, and that she would be a wonderful asset (without having lost her faith, of course). Sometimes God’s plan is to place us right in the midst of evil so that we can be the light of Christ in the darkness, a beakon of hope for others to see.
