It is not infrequent that when the Catholic points of explicit points of the True Christian Faith that a fundamentalist will balk and state “that’s all well and good, but it only occurs in one of the four Gospels, not all of them.”
Q: What strongly-held Protestant practices only occur once in scripture? I am aware that the Trinitarian form of Baptism (“in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” only occurs once in (Matt. 28:19)).
