What are some kid friendly streaming options? Does not have to be religious. EWTN and Formed offers some kids content. The major streamers Netflix, Hulu, Amazon have some but also have inappropriate content. Disney+, Noggin, PBS kids offers some content but also some that is inappropriate (example Arthur featuring a gay wedding). What about Pureflix, Dove, or Yippee (religious content is not Catholic and may contradict,). Best I can tell prescreen ahead of time and watch with your children. Parental Guidance Ratings can be used but is not 100%.

We have most of the streaming services you mention in our household. My account is the primary “parent” account on each platform and requires a PIN to access (with further restrictions on ‘adult’ content and extra purchases, etc.) The kids, who are 8-10, have a separate no-PIN profile under my account where I set the acceptable content rating they are permitted to view. Not 100% perfect, but pretty good thus far (~3-4 years).

We don’t have any streaming services, but my son likes to watch the “outdoor boys” YouTube channel. It’s a married guy with 3 young boys who camp, fish, and build things with their dad.

I watch with my son because YouTube has ads and isn’t a kid friendly platform, but that channel is appropriate and entertaining for little boys.

Ad Free Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, Netflix, Amazon Prime, CBS All Access, Peacock, Youtube (with Ads), PBS Kids (That’s alot when you list them out, still cheaper than cable).

We limit kids screen time to mostly the weekends usually no longer than a movie or a couple of shows.
