What’s up with kids these days? List the things that make you ask that question. One question per post, please, and keep it light.
So why do kids these days respond to “Thank you” by saying, “No problem”?
A waiter brings my food to the table and I say “thank you.” He answers “no problem.” Well of course it’s not a problem. He’s doing a job for which he is being paid and for which he will receive a tip. I haven’t asked for extraordinary service of some kind. What’s wrong with “you’re welcome.” Same number of syllables, no harder to say.
