a basic knowledge of the world?
That is not a source, that is your opinion. Judging by your previous posts, you have very little knowledge of the world at all.

hola

the Holy Father was just showing his appreciation for a gift… many Polish people do this, it should not be understood in any religious context, the Holy Father even said so.

que Dios te bendiga
My husband (who is Muslim) respects all holy books, he does not mistreat any. He believes they should all be kept in high regards. He would NEVER dream of mistreating a bible or Torah.

yet he would put a Koran on top of a Bible…?

nice ad hominem there
observation BTW not opinion
some people do observe the world around them, have degrees and post-graduate qualifications as well working in a profession where they get quite an insight into human nature
other people like you who lack those qualities presumably, use ad hominems because they have poor debating skills
with a name like PONG, you should be careful…
👍

i do not mean to sound rude but i am confused… were you replying in general to the thread or specifically to what i wrote? … i did not mean to say anything about muslims, only that the Holy Father kissed the quran to show thankfulness for the gift… it was not meant to be a religious endorsement.

You previously made a statement which you attempted to pass off as fact. I called you on it, and instead of addressing the issue you attacked me. And what kind of fallacy might that be?

What a shame your alleged studies didn’t teach you how to construct a sentence. You sound more like a freshman who has just taken his first composition course and is all excited because he knows a few words of latin.

You presume incorrectly. Are you ever going to address the issue, or are you going to continue to attack me?

Pong, I don’t labour over my posts getting them gramatically correct… that would be pretty sad!:rotfl:
you are getting yourself pretty confused here, among all your vituperations eg
You previously made a statement which you attempted to pass off as fact. I called you on it, and instead of addressing the issue you attacked me
Ok who actually attacked who? let’s see -

so we can see that the person who made the attack was… YOU!
you still don’t understand the difference between observation and opinion - but never mind
please disprove my point if you like - but ease up on the ad hominems - it makes you sound a bit well 👍 you know what I mean
I treat your comment “alleged studies” (not studies, training) with the contempt it deserves
if you ever fancy a debate about thrombophilia, invasive monitoring or STEMI/NSTEMI acute management, just ask and I will demonstrate my “alleged studies” and professional education
