^ Oops, sorry!
The fact that the Catholic philosophies and theologies are backed up by logic and historical evidence.
So it is not proof that the Catholic philosophies and theologies are backed up by logic and historical evidence, but rather it is the most likely scenario?

According to the Gospels, Christ stayed with the apostles for awhile, yes.

I am suspicious of the “would the apostles died for a lie” argument. A person or group of people dying for a cause does not immediately lend credence to that cause.

Islam is pretty strong.
There is a vast difference between Christian martyrs and Muslim martyrs.
Christian martyrs were persecuted, tortured, and murdered for what they believed. They were given a choice- either give up your Christianity or die a horrible death (still are today in Muslim countries), and they usually didn’t put up a fight. However so called Muslim martyrs are usually suicide bombers who aggressively kill themselves and others in offense for their religious belief. Huge difference. God bless and peace.

It seems that Faith is NOT a choice, but a gift.

And my Faith is strong, but I have difficulty explaining the resurrection to others.
Namely, I get hung up on, “What makes your faith stronger than other opposing faiths?”
The Resurrection can be explained from the bible and from history. There has never been any real evidence that shows Christ didn’t rise from the dead. There are many eyewitnesses to his Resurrection. Folks chose to die freely a painful death when they could have renounce there faith and lived. The fact that Jesus did rise from the dead is proof that Christianity is stronger than other faiths because no other faith can make the claim that their profit died and rose from the dead. No faith comes close to what the Gospel proclaims. Our difficulty in explaining the faith is lack of understanding and the inability to articulate it, which challenges our faith and courage to proclaim what we believe to be true. But that doesn’t mean the answers are not there. God has revealed much to us through Divine Revelation, Sacred Tradition, and human history. We just need to be willing to do the work. This website alone has many resources that will equip you to better defend the truth about the Resurrection and many other Christian beliefs. Plant seeds and leave the results to God. God bless and peace.
