I was watching our local 4th degree Knights in a procession for Perpetual Adoration. I was wondering since I am a Knight, when I get married can I wear ceremonial clothing that the Knights have on with the flume hat and is there a special ceremony for Knights who are getting married?

I know of at least two 4th degrees who have had honor guards present at their weddings, but neither groom wore the regalia themselves. I’m only a 2nd degree myself, but my instinct tells me that the protocol is that the regalia is for being “on duty” as an honor guard, and you can’t simultaneously be “on duty” and participating as the groom.
