*An article to make you blood boil, portraying these women as only doing what’s best for their aborted child. Disgusting.

A Late Decision, a Lasting Anguish
  • A Kansas doctor is under investigation for performing abortions others won’t. His clients say outsiders can’t grasp their pain or gratitude.
    Code:
By Stephanie Simon, Times Staff Writer

WICHITA, Kan. — The moment is burned forever in her mind: The small exam room, her husband's ashen face, her sobs as the doctor guided a needle into her womb to kill her son.
It’s been 4 1/2 years, and still Marie Becker can feel Daniel kicking inside her, kicking and kicking as she choked back hysteria — kicking until the drug stopped his heart and she felt only stillness.
    Code:
She prayed Daniel would forgive her.
She prayed for forgiveness from God as well. Becker had been taught that abortion was a sin; she wanted so to believe it might also be a blessing. In her seventh month of pregnancy she had learned Daniel had a fatal genetic disorder and his life would be brief and brutal. She wanted to spare him that.

“For the love of God, the last thing I wanted to do was to murder my own child,” she said recently. “This was something we did out of love and respect for him.”

"Some of the deformities are lethal. Others are not. A few fall in a gray area: The physical problems might be reparable through surgery, but the operations are risky and grueling.

One patient who had an abortion at 25 weeks in November said she could not bear to imagine surgeons cutting open her daughter’s tiny chest to rebuild her heart. The thought of her Emma spending months of her childhood in the hospital overwhelmed the woman, a 30-year-old technology educator from Virginia who asked to be identified by her middle name, Paige.

“Part of me just wanted to let her die,” Paige said. “Is that horrible?”"

Seriously? She can’t imagine surgeons cutting open her daughter’s chest, but she’s fine with them ripping her daughter apart. These people are disallusioned, especially those who feel the need to kill a child who the doctors say will die naturally. First of all, doctors are sometimes wrong. Second, what’s the hurry?

Tiller the Killer strikes again. How utterly SICKENING. But this points to the fallacy of making a decision based on what MIGHT happen, not what has happened. They killed the child because they didn’t want to think about him being alone and lonely? Whaaaa??? Down’s Syndrome??? This is a fatal disease? That would certainly come as a surprise to the many people who have relatively normal lives even with challenges like Downs. I used to work with a man who had two kids, one with Downs Syndrome the other did not have this issue. She went to school, excelled in sports and made national news by swimming the English channel. Not that she didn’t have a lot of struggles with health, multiple surgeries, and the rejection of those who were frightened by her difference. But I cannot imagine this man or his wife even considering killing her before birth.

This is just designed to make Dr. Tiller look like a hero for helping women who have"a difficult choice". Of course, they find the “hard cases” , the ones that are agonising because we all would feel horrible if we found out that something was wrong with our child. This is designed to play on our sympathies because, surely, we can all feel their pain. Alot of these women were afraid of what “could” or what they thought “would” happen. So they make a horrible decision. And they want us to look like the bad guys because we want to outlaw abortion. They want us to look like monsters because we “can’t sympathise with the suffering of these women”(as if outlawing the murder of your child makes us heartless).

Hard cases make bad laws

"For children like Daniel, “the man is a savior,” she said. "He’s there for women who have nowhere else to go."That made me want to vomit:mad:

Any baby killed is a baby killed, period. It can’t be justified.

Another reminder from the LATimes why all of us who live in So. California need to BOYCOTT THEM!

They make the ABORTIONIST, Dr. Rober Tiller, and those who go to him to MURDER THEIR CHILDREN into the HEROES, and those of us who say they are doing wrong by SLAUGHTERING THEIR CHILDREN into the “BADGUYS”.

“Evil be thou my good! Good, Be thou my evil!”

Those are the current morals and ethics at the LATimes!

Brief notes to the Mothers who murdered their children:

Marie, maybe Daniel’s life life would have been brutal and short, but he would have known his mother’s love and maybe Baptism into the Church. Didn’t the fact that he resisted the needle tell you anything?

Were you that terrified at having to watch him die? I know a man who’s watched his own son and a thousand of his patients die - God’s grace is there, and sometimes you get to see and hear what’s waiting for all us.

Plazio, you killed Matthew because he had Down’s Syndrome. The Lubavitcher Rebbe used to STAND each time a child with Down’s syndrome walked into the room, because “A great soul had just walked into the room”.

You killed a “MOHATMA” (the Sanskrit word), because you were afraid your marraige and family couldn’t take it. Plazio, what kind of family life is worth saving at that expense?

Paige, the thought of watching surgeons cut into your beloved Emma’s chest was so traumatic that you had this butcher, Tiller, cut her into pieces?

Paige, the thought of Emma being imprisoned inside of a hospital for months was so terrible that you had to destroy the only thing she had, her life?

I’m sorry, but I just don’t get why I should feel that you’re some sort of heroine.

Becker, your son disgusted you so much you wouldn’t allow him to live long enough to see your smile or feel your embrace? You thought so lowly of yourself that you didn’t give Daniel enough time even to be Baptized and to receive the Last Rites of the Church?

Becker, you went to Catholic school, didn’t you remember any of this? or, were you to revulsed by the pictrues from the ultrasound?

Was Dr. Tiller really the savior you made him out to be? or, Don’t you think you could just have been a little better than that?

And, then there’s the story of Isabella, now cremated and kept in a jar by the bed, because she was a child with Down’s Syndrome.

And the LATimes’ idea of how an Abortion somehow “Ends the child’s suffering” is SICKENING/NAUSIATING/APPALLING!

That’s all I have to say. I know the purveyers of Free-Speech over at the Times wouldn’t publish that in a million years!

Well, since I sent most of it in a “Letter to the Editor”, we’ll soon find out! LOL

May God richly bless those who act to save His Little Ones. Michael

Lisa:

Thank you Lisa.

As you can see, I sent it to the LA Times. The odds of publication are slightly less than of getting 2 acustic tumors in one decade or winning the LOTTERY TWICE in one decade.

But, I figured putting it here meant that at least someone would see it.

You have permission to use that in your flyers. Same for Priests for Life.

NO Catholic or other Christian should even be listening to these lies - These are part of the Devil’s False and Empty Promises that we renounced at Baptism.

And, what that article was talking about, this Abortionist ending those children’s suffering is a False and Empty Promise.

The bit about the Lubavitcher Rebbe is true. He did that all the days of his life until he could no longer stand, and it forced a change in how Orthodox Judaism deals with the DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED.

But, the Indian word for “Great Soul” is “Mohatma”. If I understand him correctly, the Lubavitcher Rebbe was saying that the children who had Down’s Sundrome were equivalent spiritually to the “Mohatma” Gandhi.

I can plumb this more if you want, but it’s definitely a side-trip, and I only understand part of it.

Momofone:

That’s why I included the fact that I personally know someone who watched his teenage son (his son died of a then untreatable cancer) and over a thousand of his own patients (that happened in the 1980’s - early 1990’s when they had NO effective treatments for AIDS).

According to the logic in the LA Times, He should have called Dr. Kevordian as soon as as they were all positively diagnosed! According to to the now Fr. Davis, that would have denied all of their families the glimpse of the other side accorded many of them who were with their loved ones at the end.

This glimpse made many into believers.

Dr. Tiller and the LA Times have NO idea the grace these people are being denied.

Hard Cases make Bad Laws, esp. when one looks at only one side side of the issue and one doesn’t hear from the other side at all!

May God richly bless those who act to save His Little Ones. Michael

Oooooh that literally makes my stomach hurt!!!

These kinds of cases belie the fact that MOST late-term abortions are performed on HEALTHY BABIES. Look it up!!! They are just perpetuating the myth that they are ONLY for hard cases, when quite the opposite is true.

They are more likely to be for the woman’s “emotional health”. In other words, I can’t deal with my feelings so I’m gonna go kill my kid to make myself feel better.

Absolutely true. I was ‘preaching’ about PBA at work, and I assure you the average person has no CLUE what this is about. At any rate one of our employees spoke up and said she had a friend who’d decided very late that she ‘didn’t want the baby’ that it would be ‘too hard on her.’ She found an abortionist here in Oregon who would do a late term abortion. She even lied about how far along she was although I am sure the doctor wasn’t fooled. He just didn’t care. I thought it would be extremely difficult particularly in the case where it was basically a whim. Nope, they’ll take your money. Another woman said her SIL had had several late term abortions (I don’t know if PBA) because she carried a birth defect that could not be dianosed until quite late like six months. She kept ‘trying’ until the baby was determined to be free of the defect. I cannot imagine the mental state of someone who would deliberately risk a pregnancy that she knows she will terminate. My co worker thought she was right and that she was “preventing the child from suffering…” Needless to say no Catholics at my workplace 😦

Lisa:

I only need to look at the number to know that something is VERY SERIOUSLY WRONG with this country, and that we are storing up a JUDGMENT the likes of which the world hasn’t seen since Nazi Germany.

I study history, and I see that only ONE country was not allowed to surrender until it was completely subjugated and almost all of its cities destroyed, and, even then that country was SPLIT IN HALF!

That country wasn’t Italy or even Japan. That country was Nazi Germany. Germany founght until the bitter end, even through the firebombing of Dresden.

They killed a total of 18 million in the Holocaust. 16-18 million Jews, Latvians, Serbs, Slavs, Roma, Catholics, Gays and others.

Lisa, since ROE V. WADE was Promulgated by the Supreme Court in 1973, we’ve managed to slaughter 46 million babies, and the Abortionists are still hard at work.

Lisa, God allowed all of those terrible things to happen to Nazi Germany over their slaughter of 18 million. What do you think He’ll allow HERE when His patience has gone the way of all of those babies? Do you think we have a snowball’s chance in you know where of stopping it if we can’t get these people to REPENT?

Remember, I came over from a ME board. I got used to dealing with the effects of rebellion against God and seeing what it took to fix the damage. When God set LIFE & DEATH in front of His people, LIFE had a SET OF BENEFITS, but DEATH had a COST! and, I don’t want this country to pay the COST, if it can be avoided.

I hope this makes sense.

Blessed are they who act to save God’s Little Ones. Michael

Hi Michael this is the other Lisa and I understand perfectly and yes our sins are running over in this nation and we are begging our Father to stop us:nope: The blood calls to heaven for vengeance:crying: To many have been lulled into apathy and well, the Lord who is a loving Father chastises:nope:

A little story I read someplace(could have been here, if so, forgive me): A doctor delivered 2 babies the same day. The first was a healthy baby boy. The second was a little girl who was Down’s Syndrome.
He told this story years later to a class of medical students. He asked them which baby they thought had the greater value. They all said the boy. That the Downs baby was:mad: “worthless”.
He told them, the girl’s father died young, & her mother had health problems. The girl cared for her mom every day till the mom died. The little boy? His name was Adolf Hitler.
Hopefully, at least one student got the point that we are not (morally) allowed to make these judgments. Life belongs to God. We take these lives at the peril of our own souls.
God bless.

Elizabeth B.:
Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do.
Amen.

😦 😦

That article is definitely NOT the way I wanted to start my day…

This is one of the most sadly disturbing articles I’ve read on abortion, and is an excellent example of why education and prayer are so important to save these innocents.

Debbie

You know, if killing children up to the age of like 10 were legal, I bet you anything there would be people running around trying to justify it anyway they could, saying how it’s “pro-choice” to allow it, quoting figures of overpopulation, poverty, and how it’s so hard on the mother to have to be a mother.

And they’d be saying that WE were sooo bad for “FORCING” women to be mothers…oh wait, they already say that!

I mean, my husband didn’t have serious health problems until he was about 2. He required a lot of surgery and hospital stays after that. Won’t be long till they start saying how it’s “more compassionate” to just kill people like him even after they are born.** Oh wait, they’re already doing that too!!!**

Is this a true story, or an analogy???
