Lack of priests and the laymen

I just read a thread on the priest shortage and people putting blame on every side.

IMHO We Catholics get the priests we deserve and we don’t get any because we do not deserve them. We cannot blame the clergy we must blame ourselves and our lack of integrity and our being comfortable with sin.

The problem is a lack and crisis of Faith. And it’s on our part.
God is still in charge and he will send more and holy priests when the Catholics shape up.

I think that since you can see more vocations in diocese that are more orthodox shows that the Bishops are not irrelevant to the problem. Those who tolerate dissent drive men away from the priesthood vocation.
