Latin and vernacular are both languages used by the Church

If vernacular conveys Truth and what the Church has always taught, there is no problem with it.

It seems to me that the thing about praying and saying Mass in Latin is actually a matter of making sure all priests in the world are doing the basics right. It is some sort of standardization, in order to keep quality.
 
The Eastern Code of Canon Law is a latinized joke.
What other document, of the highest sort of magisterial authority, would you call “a joke”?

I’m reminded of a statement of a canon law professor of mine. When somebody would offer a…let’s say, unique, opinion on a particular point, he’d say “well, maybe when you have a doctorate you can have that opinion.”
