Here’s a straight answer: go. Chapel veil or not. No one will say anything to you about it. You’ll see women with and without them, if you decide to continue to re-learn about the Tridentine Mass, you can decide later to get a veil or not.I grew up with the Latin Mass and still remember it well, unfortunately I didn’t appreciate it. I would like to start going again and was wondering, do women have to wear something on their heads, even today?
I’ve always thought it was funny when people cite the 1983 revisions to Canon Law as to whether they need to wear a chapel veil to a TLM. As if people who are willing to go to Mass celebrated the same way since the year 1545 years give a hoot about obscure Canon Law revisions in 1983.
