Getting started can be hard. While the scripture readings are in the Missal, there is no seperate lectionary, an altar missal is fairly expensive. Then the priest usually has a Latin/English missal so he can read the lessons in the vernacular before his homily. One priest I know in my diocese went to the FSSP seminary in Nebraska for one of their training sessions. It must have been expensive with travel fees plus whatever the Fraternity charged. And we haven’t even talked about altar cards, vestments, etc. It can be done, but it isn’t easy.

where can you find one? and what if the priests dont allow the EF in the parish?

In answer to post # 10, when there is no Communion rail available, the first pews are reserved during Mass so as to be available for Communion. People file into the reserved first pews and receive kneeling on the kneelers, just as you would at the Communion rail. It works quite well.

Don’t worry - they are coming.
The FSSP has trained and is training priests in the EF.
The Holy Father has written to seminaries instructing them to include training in the EF as part of priestly formation.

The MP provides for appeal if one does not get satifaction from the priest or fromt he Bishop. The matter may be submitted to Rome. See the MP for details.
