Our retiring Grand Knight in our Knights of Columbus Council would like to introduce the incoming Grand Knight in our Council newsletter with something along the lines of the Habemus Papam that announced the election of our new Holy Father. None of us are Latin scholars, however, and I am certain the best guess suggested (Habemus Grand Knightam) is wildly inaccurate. Does anyone here know how the phrase we have a Grand Knight might be translated to Latin?
Thank you.
