Lawmakers Considers Penalty on States That Give Illegal Aliens Driver’s Licenses
Monday, December 26, 2005

Some advocates say illegal immigrants should be granted driver’s licensees, at least as a way to keep track of them. But critics complain it would reward aliens who have already broken U.S. law.

The debate has led some U.S. lawmakers to threaten financial consequences to their own states.

I’m tempted to say that illegal immigrants are going to be driving either way, legally or illegally. (How else are you going to work, aside perhaps from day labor?) So, it might be a good idea to track who’s driving. We can make sure they meet some standards and if there is an accident, we have some evidence of who the other party is.

I feel so sory for you. What other laws would you like to see legalized to accomadate these illegal people,regardless of Nationality.Of couuse you probably feel better about your own law breaking if you justify theirs.Example in Vancover Wash. we just had a case of an illegal in a hotel room with a minor and meth.This person was already deported for a crime.He produced a drivers license to the investigating officer. The officer replied this is not the name you gave me. Oooops… reaches into his wallet and pulls out another license with his name and picture,which revealed that he was driving while suspended.He indicated that the previous license was that of his brother. You will probably continue to support this untill they try to defend their law breaking when it directly involves you ie. your daughter ,your car, your house ,your store.But it will probably make you feel better if you are seeing higher profits in your buisness using illegals to compete with law abiding citizens.
 
It Is About Time .looooooosers Who Are Eploiting These People And Putting Law Abiding Citezens Out Of Buisness And Jobs Should Be Fined And Dealt With Like Any Other Law Breaker .justice Should Be Blind Not Race Biased Or Profit Orientated

I thought this was an interesting concept. I had never thought of this before. If the argument is that it is the Federal governments jurisdiction to deal with illegal immigration then the state can support that by tracking suspected illegal’s and turn the info over to the feds, one way might be drivers licenses. I doubt that is happening, but it is an interesting idea.

Oh wait a minute … did the state get a warrant to give out the illegal drivers license info over to the feds? Clearly without one we can’t take a legitimate action against an illegal action. Silly me.
