I would like to know specifically how to get information on becoming a lay Dominican, or member of their third order.

The best way is to find out which Dominican Province you are located in and then finding the Lay Dominicans’ website. All Lay Dominican Provinces in the US have a website. For example the Central Province, which I belong to, also called the Province of St. Albert the Great, Is laydominicancentral.org.
After that you find a chapter in your area and then make contact with them via email or phone and then come to a meeting. It’s really just that simple!
