I am not sure if this is the right place for this. Are lay ministries callings from God, or are they choices we make. I am pretty sure that God wants me to start a lay ministry group at my parish, under the Crossing the Goal National Ministry. This is kinda scary, but I can’t really find a reason not to do it, at least no honest reason not to. I’m not really a natural leader, to my knowledge, but I am learning its about God and not me. Still, I am trying to make sure its right. Sorry if I sound so confusing, I am just trying to figure all this out.
