Because I just have trouble getting things done. For example, I will plan to start working out, but when it comes time to actually do it, I will put it off and I will end up not working out.Why do you think you are lazy? Has someone told you that you are?
I was called lazy and told I was not living up to my potential, among other things, when I was younger. Mainly because I chose to do things differently or in a different order than the adults around me.
Just some things to consider before one goes about labeling something as a sin.
Maybe this article can help you from Opus Sanctorum Angelorum - Work of the Holy Angels. It is from their many Youth Circulars, but I read them even at my age of 43 (but I’m really only 39 again). How do you battle this sin? Thanks for the link.It may apply to sports and prayer, but try to apply it to your situation. Self-discipline is the key and structure helps too. That means routine.

Here are other circulars from the site.

Ahhhh - college. Yep, that will do it to you. Thanks for the link.
You are right, self discipline iand structure is the key. I remember in high school when I wrestled, it was so much easier to just go to the gym after school. Now that I am in college, I can’t keep myself disciplined.
I just read it. It reminds me of the quote, “Once begun, half done”. The article does give some help. I like what it says about getting started right and praying when you wake up. Maybe the key is more prayer. Like Fr Corapi woulld say, “If you have prayed the rosary… pray it again”.Ahhhh - college. Yep, that will do it to you.
I have a cousin who just finished her doctorates and said she can’t believe how unstructured and undisciplined her life became. Now she is working to get routine and structure back into it, and the self-discipline that comes with it.
Do read that article and hopefully it will help.
