I have been thinking it would be very beneficial to make some small, friendly advertisements for Catholic.com. Vistaprint has some “free” business cards that I can order (for $5.99 s&h lol) and I think a small invite to get to know and discuss the truth about Catholic.com could lead people to the site. I think this site is an incredible resource and in a world where people hear so many false things about Catholics we need to be out there leading them to a comprehensive site for the truth. Even if they come here just to argue, it is the opportunity to present them with the truth about Catholics and hopefully plant a seed.

Thats actually a good idea. Like if you are having a conversation with a non-Catholic and then you have to go, tell them if they have any questions to come to Catholic Answers. This website, for me personally, was a major help in my process of joining the Catholic Church. I like your idea to make up these business cards.

With the recent conclave and all the media coverage the Church has been getting, it helped me to notice how prevalent so many of the misconceptions are. I am even thinking it could be useful to spread these little cards around in neighborhoods and leave them on park benches or things like that. I routinely get things left on my gate or in my mailbox that include business cards for all kinds of services and companies. I don’t really mind it because it isn’t intrusive. I can take it or leave it. I feel like it could be a much more polite form of door to door evangelization. No one likes to be interrupted with phone calls or visits, but a polite invitation to visit a website is much friendlier and can be done at the convenience of the recipient.

Surely you ought to get the permission of the Catholic Answers management first if you were to do such a thing?
