NEW YORK, February 7, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Silvia Pimentel, has distinguished herself as one of the leading promoters of abortion on the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). Elected to sit on the committee in January 2005 and currently serving as Vice Chair, Pimentel is one of the 23 ‘experts’ on the UN body which monitors compliance with the UN convention of the same name.

To the UN, these are probably “true catholics”.

The Vatican should come down and come down hard on her and the university (in the case of the university, only if they do not remedy her employement status).

This is one of the reasons why there is a hierarchy in this Catholic Church. We do not want the inmates running the Church like most protestant and fundamentalist churches. If we did, most of us would be excommunicated due to disagreements.
