Just wanted to know if the community played this AWESOME game.
 
I used to a lot, not too much at the moment though once I get good internet again I will!

I’ve played maybe once, lol. But my husband plays it a lot and I like watching. We’ve also watched some of the LCS on youtube, and because we live in S. Korea we were able to actually go and see the Winters Champions. It was pretty awesome 😃
 
Oh man, that’s really neat. I remember watching a counter strike tournament in S.Korea but it wasn’t that awesome. Was admission free? How were the crowds?

I’m so sad Dignitas lost the LCS tourney.

I have an account on the Korean servers also actually … but I’m low rank and my ping sucks.

Admission was $25ea. And since we were foreigners, we got a swag bag, with a t-shirt, a towel signed by one of the players (though I don’t remember who because it was in Korean, lol), and other little goodies. We also got to sit pretty close to the stage, and we could see the trophy and all, and just walk up to it. Oh, and we also got the option to have a little radio so we could hear DoA and Monte Cristo in English (and after the game they came over and we–or I should say my husband and co. lol–chatted it up with them.

The crowd outside the opening, was large and packed, and there were some really good cosplayers. Then it was like sheep trying to get in through the door! lol. But once we got it, it seemed rather sparse, but as time went it really filled up and got packed. It was so awesome, the whole atmosphere was charged.

Yea that was pretty crazy that Dig lost. But at the same time, it’s cool to see that GGU, despite being a new group, was able to show talent like that.

Lol yea, my husband also has a Korean account, but he muuuuuuuch prefers to play on the NA. 😃

Ah, to be personally attacked & disrespected on a Catholic forum by fellow Catholics over stuff like video games.

MMORPG’s are addictive. It’s a fact. And I’ve seen people get really weird from playing them.
