As some of you may know, I applied to seminary, and have been accepted. I enter this Fall.

If you didn’t know, seminary is very different than a regular college or grad school. Seminaries have very full schedules. Mine is no exception. The days are full of Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, silent prayer, class, recreation, and meals together. There is not much free time during the week, and what little we get is largely taken up by studying.
All that being said, I need time to prepare for this, because it is a big lifestyle change. I especially need to get in the habit of waking up earlier (we must report to the chapel by 6 am), and get back in the habit of praying the Liturgy of the Hours.
Because of that, in addition to the fact that my participation in the CAF has been excessive, I have made the decision that it would be prudent for me to discontinue active participation in the CAF. I still desire to be a part of this great community, but not to the level that I presently am. I will give occasional personal updates, and perhaps occasionally ask or answer questions, but I think that it would be imprudent for me to do much more than that.
Thank you, everyone who has been praying for me; I have been (and will continue to be) praying for you, as well.
