Hi Mr Keating

I just heard you on Catholic Answers (July 6). A woman asked about the lectionary cycle.

You said that both the Sunday and Weekday readings are on a 3 year cycle.

I thought the weekday readings were on a 2 year cycle?

Could you please clear this up?

BTW I love listening to Catholic Answers. You have a wonderful ministry.

I’m not Mr. Keating and I’m not a priest. But yes the Sunday readings are a 3 year cycle (A,B,C,) and the weekday readings are a 2 year cycle (1,2).
