Hi everyone!

Does anyone know of any Lenten Devotionals or daily prayers and reflections for each of the days of Lent that I can either get in book form or find online?

Your help is greatly appreciated! May God bless you all! šŸ™‚

Check out the following:

Throughout These Forty Days We Pray by John F. O’Grady
and
Ash Wednesday to Easter by Barry J. Trick

Both are available from Paulist Press at:

There are the Little Books from Saginaw, Michigan I believe and they put out a Little Black book for Lent. They are one of my favorites.
I donate to the basilica of the immaculate conception in Washington D.C. and they send me a little book also. Magnificat has a little book they put out yearly for Lent.

I love those Little Books for Advent/Christmas, Lent & Easter.

These CTS booklets, ā€œLent with the Saintsā€ are quite good from Ignatius Press:

I plan on getting this book below, ā€œMeditaitions for Lentā€ I found the Advent book to be exceptionally awesome. You can get it for your phone as well.

ā€œIn Conversation with Godā€ is a great daily devotional to use by Francis Fernadez. It covers Lent, Holy Week, and Easter Tide. It is quite substantial with three little readings per day. I recommend that one too. I have all the volumes, for each part of the liturgical year. It is published by Scepter Press.

I second the recommendation for In Conversation With God!

I also heartily recommend Divine Intimacy by Fr. Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalene, OCD.

Thanks for all of the nice replies! I’ll look through them all now and choose one for this Lenten season!

May God bless you all! šŸ™‚

Oh, yes. We use ā€œFr. Z’s. blogā€ for his daily 5 minute Lentcastz. Also we go to Stations of the Cross every Friday at our parish.

I like to do the Divine Office with the Monks of LeBarroux. (Google it using Chant of Le Barroux). The wife and I read the daily Meditations for Lent by Fr. Jacques Benigne Bussuet. We, also follow the 1962 Fasting rules.

we plan on topping Lent off with attending the Triduum at our FSSP parish. (Solemn High Masses all week)

We really look forward to this time of the year. 😃

The Solemn Masses up at the church at the college are really beautiful, especially the Midnight Mass on Saturday night, which is begun with a paschal fire in the front of the church. A family of Mormons whom I know are thinking of going with me, since they have admired the church when taking walks in the park there. šŸ™‚

Personally, I love the Office of Readings šŸ‘

If you don’t own copies of the Liturgy of the Hours, you can use this website: Divine Office.

If you’re already doing the Liturgy of the Hours, I highly recommend In Conversation With God.

God bless you!

šŸ‘ Me, too! I pray it because I am a Third Order Carmelite. It seems like the Office of Readings is longer during Lent- nice and meaty.

I also like Meditations for Lent by Saint Thomas Aquinas and Benedictus by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI- it’s for everyday, not just Lent. With both books the meditations aren’t as long as In Conversation With God, but are still very profound.
