Not sure where to put this.
I am giving up nicotine for Lent. I am also fasting today. The dilemma is that if I stop chewing tobacco today, I will effectively need to eat non-stop, nuts, seeds, etc. that will break the fast. Is it more acceptable to fast and start “giving up” tomorrow vs. today? Or should I start it giving up today and not fast? Doing both is basically impossible.
