VATICAN CITY, April 11 (CNA) - Morethan 50,000 people crowded into St. Peter’s Square this EasterWednesday to attend today’s general audience. The Pope, who arrived byhelicopter from his residence in Castelgandolfo, dedicated hiscatechesis to the Easter Octave.Afterreiterating his best wishes for Easter to the faithful, Benedict XVIspoke of Jesus’ various appearances following His resurrection. “Alsofor us,” he said, “they represent an invitation to enter more deeplyinto the Easter message … and to follow the spiritual itinerary ofthe people who met Christ and recognized Him in those first days.”
