There are a lot of topics on the forums here that are heated debates. Let’s just have a nice conversation. 🙂
How was your day?
 
Well, actually it was a very nice Spring day here. A good end for a hectic week with some time to enjoy the outdoors.
 
That’s nice. What did you do outdoors? Just some relaxing, or something else?
 
A little work , filling up holes where trees were with dirt; then sitting back on the deck enjoying the breeze and wildlife.

And you?
 
I worked on my seminary application (If you didn’t know, I’m a seminary applicant.) and cleaned up a bit in my room, with some learning about the faith and calculus mixed in there.
 
I didn’t know that. Best wishes for success. I will say a prayer for you tonight. My son went on a series of discernment retreats while in college, but was not called that way.

It’s saturday here. It’s been a very dry warm unusual autumn day. There is a planned burn here, so things are about to get smoky. It’s been a good day.
I am constantly thanking God for a recently answered prayer.

Saturday morning here. Going to help a friend move and empty her basement - charitable AND good excercise.

I promised to teach the kids how to make two kinds of cookies, and I need to fill out the tax forms.
 
That sounds like something I would do. I love sweets (too much) and strongly dislike a bitter taste. I never liked the taste of wine, but I could drink sangria or wine coolers. These days, I’ve given up alcohol altogether, as I tended to overdo it when I did drink.
 
Good Morning folks. Saturday a.m. here as well. Going to a hatha yoga class soon and then to an anniversary party for a couple my wife and I know. Rained overnight. Lots of birds out in the back yard picking grass, twigs etc… for their nests.
 
It’s just about sunrise here. The wife and I are about to head up the mountain to see some birds. It promises to be a nice day.
 
My daughter has spent two weeks hoping for the chicken pox her twin brother had so she could be home from school and she finally has it.

While I am not comfortable right now sharing my diocese or the seminary where I will be entering, I will be diocesan. Thank you very much for your prayers.

Sounds interesting. What types of myths does it cover?

How was it? If it cooked all night, it’s gotta be juicy and tender.

Never heard of it. What’s it about?
 
Had a nice nature walk with a dear friend I do not see very often where we discussed life, the universe and everything…
