Here’s the deal. Just a few minutes north of Green Bay is the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, the only approved Marian apparition in the U.S. I just learned that every year since it was approved, Anti-Catholic protesters have been out there on the Feast of the Assumption (Mod edit: August 15th) trying to tell Catholics going to the shrine all the usual anti-Catholic junk.
Last year one even slipped into the shrine and planted Chick Tracs in all the Missalettes! While I’m pretty sure anyone visiting a Marian apparition isn’t going to fall for that junk, I’m still concerned and bothered.
Ok, Ok, enough long-windedness… I’m looking for a few other people who are maybe willing to go out there and defend our faith to these folks, or at least hand out pamphlets on just how biblical all of our beliefs regarding our Blessed Mother actually are, and maybe, just maybe, but the work of the Holy Spirit, one of those prostesters might decide we’re actually “Christian”
Anyone in the N.E. Wisconsin (or willing to travel to the area) interested in doing something like that? ::knight1::knight2:
God Bless
