In this article, liberal news entity NPR overviewed the supreme court history regarding abortion. While specifically about abortion they saw clearly that contraception lead the way. At least they are honest. Why do “conservative” protestant christians who are against abortion refuse to see the contraception connection that even the liberal media admits? Any ideas?

I’m watching the Samual Alito Supreme Court Confirmation Hearing right now on C-SPAN.

Dem Sen. Dick Durbin also just braught up the Supreme Court decision in favor of contraception as establishing the right to “privacy” that is supposedly the foundation of later decisions in favor of abortion.

Abortion - Contraception connection?

Liberal Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin seems to see it.

Where are our conservative protestant brothers?

Isn’t Sen. Turbin catholic?

Supposedly he’s “catholic”, but honestly… does anyone really think he has any respect for the teaching of the Church? I think we need some Catholic Bishops to step forward and call these guys out on their actions. Call them to repent and obstain from the Sacraments until such time as they are willing to truthfully come back to the faith.

Well, I think you make a good point. But to get any of the US Bishops to do anything…lets just say I’d be surprised if they did.
