I see elitism and that “WE know it all” attitude in your post, sir. Is that what we promote with our “get our strongman and support him”.

this is my opinion…what you are saying is quite apparent to me. I will retract my opinion if it’s so offensive.

When you attack someone, you can’t hide behind “That’s my opinion.” It is the opinion, and its public expression that is offensive.

If someone said to you, “In my opinion, your mother wears French combat boots” you would not consider that personal and offensive?

My quotes were from Franklin Roosevelt – do you deny he said that? Would you deny Woodrow Wilson said, “I will teach the Latin Americans to elect good men” – and they took great offense at that?
