I was on another site and it has various banner ads. One caught my attention named “Liberty’s Secret” on top of the banner and underneath with isawthekiss, com. Just by the name “Liberty’s Secret” and the way one woman was looking at the other the “secret” was easy to figured out.

Now I don’t live in the South or know many who are Southern, but I will guess that this mostly aims at the Baptists and they deal with same-sex attraction. With that said, I will say that the portrayal of the politician is very much a caricature and his stances (pro-life bit "Life begins at conception) aren’t given any justice. In other words this is a movie that mocks the conservative Southern Christian without much sensible reasoning or logic. This is a great irony.

Here’s the movie’s premise -
Liberty Smith is the perfect running mate. She’s American as apple pie, sings like an angel, and is the daughter of a prominent “family values” preacher — exactly what a floundering presidential campaign needs to energize its conservative base and rally the faithful. But when political novice Liberty falls for her (female) spin doctor, it’s a cable news catastrophe. Now Liberty must choose between the life she’s known, and the love she’s dreamed of. And all of America is watching.
The words used in this premise are important.

If you watch the trailer there’s a scene where the words “Game Changer” is flashed upon the the protagonist. I take this as two things: she’s a “game changer” for her running mate in terms of winning the election (political stalwart) and a “game changer” for the same-sex “marriage” crowd because she’s the daughter of a preacher who supports “family values” (it’s clear that the progression of the premise family values is mocked just by being in quotes). The latter is crucial because it shows the tactic and the psych of social “progressives.” It builds upon the notion that if you know someone that’ has same-sex attraction then you’ll change your once supposed bigoted, narrow minded and archaic views on marriage to support same-sex “marriage.” Such a group are hungry for situations where it puts the preacher, or even the politicians (see: Ohio politician who once supported real marriage until his son came out), in a place where their offspring comes out as non-straight, and by this reality it abolishes any arguments against same-sex “marriage” and the normalization of same-sex attraction. This is the supposed “game changer.”

This plays off the “what if your baby is gay” when same-sex “marriage” wasn’t legal in an attempt to make the mother/father re-think their stances if they were against it. It’s an attempt to make the opposer say, "Am I like the person who thoughts blacks & whites should be separate - separate washrooms, drinking fountains and schools? Am I denying my future non-straight baby their right “to love whomever they want”? If I deny their ‘true self’ I am denying their dignity (and spousal benefits)! How will I look at myself in the mirror. I am the equivalent to the racists found in opposed the Civil Rights Era! No, no! I Shall stand on the right side of history!

Note the “Now Liberty must choose between the life she’s known, and the love she’s dreamed of.” This is a modern appeal to emotions: that the life she’s known (one raised by her preacher father and his “values”) is in the wrong versus “love is love.”
