I believe it says somewhere in one of the books of Peter (If anyone can provide the verses I am talking about, I would really appreciate it) that all life comes from God and that God knew us before we were formed in the womb. If all life comes from God and God knew each of us before we were conceived, does that mean if a life comes from rape, God intended for that person to be raped? PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT TRYING TO MAKE GOD SEEM LIKE A MONSTER NOR DO I BELIEVE HE IS ONE. I am simply trying to use reason and defend my pro-life views.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you,
a prophet to the nations I appointed you” (Jeremiah 1:5).

God does not intend a woman or girl to be raped. God is not directly or indirectly the cause of sin. God allowed the event for good purposes which our minds cannot always comprehend. That a raped woman conceives the life of a new human being is the will of God. God alone creates the soul of every human being.

Thanks for the verse.

Isn’t will and intention the same thing in this case?

No. God does not will anyone to sin but because he gave us free will we can choose to sin. The act of rape by the guy is a sin and God does not will that. The result of the rape which may or may not result in a pregnant woman is different than the act of the sinful rape by the guy. If the raped woman becomes pregnant, then this is the will of God because God alone creates the soul of a new human life.

God never intended for the rape to occur but through free will it did.

And if good can come from the evil (rape) then God is triumphant over the devil.

Also a new purpose can be granted through the child.

hope this helps… its a very tough topic.
