May I ask for prayers For an end to my 56 yrs of depression?
I’ve been tormented by guilt (for things I never did!) anxiety
unworthiness and a terrible self image-even though everyone tells
me I’m a good person! I want to be cured more than anything in the world!!

Many people battle depression throughout
their lives. We all experience feelings of
“un-worthiness”. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Thank God for sending his son Jesus
so that we may all be made worthy
if we so choose to accept his gift.

I’m praying for you now!
 
Praying for a relief of your depression and a deep and abiding awareness of how very much God loves you just as you are. Praying that you come to feel the truth in Romans 8:38-39 and know beyond question or doubt that you are precious to our Lord: “For I am sure that neither death, or life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, or powers nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Praying for you also. I have a sister and dh who have depression. Sometimes, I think I have a little too, but they have been diagnosed with it and on medication. I will certainly pray for you. We feel like you describe from time to time. You are loved by Jesus and we will pray for you here.:grouphug:
 
I fought with depression and anxiety for a number of years. In addition to growing closer to Jesus, I had to take medication for awhile. I needed the help of Jesus and a doctor. Also, offer your depression in place of someone else who may be battling it also. You will be blessed !
 
I’ll be praying for you! Please try to keep your spirits up and know that people, even strangers, care about you. YOU are special. I hope you know that.
