Is it allowed/ is there a precedent for the lifting of the chasibule of the celebrant at the elevation of the Host in an Ordinary Form mass celebrated Ad Orientem?

I’ve never heard of it done before, but I would think it would be possible.

“allowed” and “precedent” are two very different things.

Even if it is not “allowed” might be licit, but might not invalidation the Mass.

I’m pretty sure the rubrics don’t call for it, but I’d have to double check.

Another blog but from the people who make Commissioned vestments

“This direction is given in the Ritus Servandus VIII,8; the Caeremoniale Episcoporum II, viii and a decision of the Congregation of Sacred Rites no 3535.”
