Hi all,

Odd question but while praying the rosary, there’s usually a number of intentions I ask for before starting my rosary. Do we have to list out all the intentions or can we just say ‘‘and for all my intentions’’?

It’s personal preference. God knows what they are if you don’t list them.
I myself prefer to list them and maybe I talk briefly to God/ Mary about each one at that time, like a conversation with a friend. But if in a hurry I would feel free to use “all my intentions” as a shorthand.

I list out my intentions before each decade and try to tie them into the mysteries I am contemplating on. I was surprised on how each mystery can apply to my ordinary life. That is the beauty of the rosary, it’s much more than just a long prayer with beads.
