Our HS group did it by having 1 coordinator, she assigned a virtue to all those Mom’s who volunteered to teach and we met in the basement or hall of the church we do co-op classes at. Her time (name removed by moderator)ut was minimal to set things up.
There was nothing not to like, as we all are on the same page about church teaching.
It’s easy to come up with little stories to relate virtues to daily life for these guys, visual (or edible) aids work well, like sending around 1 chocolate bar for 15 girls to learn about selflessness vs selfishness. They all got their own bar in the end, but it made them think about the other person(s) feelings, should they have wanted a bite.
If I were to start it up and wanted CCC help, I’d use Catholicism for Dummies, which my 10yr old dtr loves, since it gets points across and isn’t too technical.
If you do it once or twice a month for an hour or 2 there is that time, plus the prep time by that day’s instructor, as well as being there a bit early to get ready and staying to clean up, although the girls are good about that.
My dtr loved it and misses it. She is in the older group of girls now (10-15), which we call Joan of Arc’s Swordmaidens. It is much less structered at present (though we are trying to change that). We try to teach a church or domestic related activity once a month -then do something fun. When I hosted, we made Rosaries and I showed them how to have a get together on the cheap, with cute little snacks and smoothies, then we talked about the Patron Saint of Swimmers, St Adjutor, and we swam for an hour and ate the snacks we had made. (these have been hosted at our homes-but that may change this year)
