I’ve been a smoker for years now. I’ve quit before, but always started again. Longest time “clean” was 4 years, so I know I can do it.
I’m about to commit to quiting. One of the hardest things about quiting for me is that my wife smokes also. She says she wants to quit, but when I say how about we quit together right now, she says she’s not ready. Then, I fool myself into thinking that it’s easier if I wait until we can do it together. Stupid, I know. Well, I’ve finally decided that I’m not gonna give myself any more excuses.
Here’s where you all come in.
I know I can do it. I’m not worried about me. I’m ready. What I would like to ask all of you is if you could please pray for my wife to feel the same. I’m hoping my example will prompt her to do the same, but I think she really needs our prayers for strength.
