Have you experienced a little miracle? Something that cannot be explained by science?

from time to time when a tempting thought is just surfacing I smell incense. The sweet smell of incense. I think its a way God is subtly trying to remind me of Him right before I get temped to turn form Him. Sadly I don’t pay attention but afterwords I remember smelling the wonderful smell of incense. I just hope if it happens again I’ll pay more attention and on smelling the beautiful incense I will turn to God in thanksgiving.

So what have you experienced?

How cool.

The first was at a charismatic prayer meeting and receieved my one and only prophecy at one of those. It was so powerfull to me because the voice was clearly not myown, I could not hold it back (I tried) but it just burst out. And it was a beautifull message that turned out to be very helpfull to all of us.
But for me it was probably the biggest thing that proved to me that he was real.

Since then he has spoken to me in different ways but it seems I can recognize him because of that event (gift).

God Bless,
Jim

I was healed of carpel tunnel syndrome due to a powerful time in confession and immense spiritual healing of my soul:)

One of the more astounding “small” (if you can call any miracle small) miracles that I’ve heard of was from a best friend. At the time, he was very much into the charismatic movement (not my thing… it has it’s place as a way to encourage people to love God actively in their daily lives, though) and had just attended a conference or something of that sort.

He came back and told me that at one mass, so many people had shown up that they didn’t have nearly enough hosts for Communion. He recalled going very early and noting only a few hosts left and watching to see what would happen.

Turns out everyone in line received Communion (reportedly even without the priests dividing the hosts to provide for more people) with hosts to spare! A little contemporary Biblical “fish and loaves” miracle, I suppose you could call it. 😛

My mum was healed of cancer 9 years ago. The doctors were baffled, she was not in remission, she was cured. She had no chemotherapy or any sort of medical intervention, medication or help whatsoever. The cancer was spreading through her body and she was diagnosed with 3 months to live.

9 years later and she is still here.

It was my 32nd birthday, and on the way home from her diagnosis, she had this sudden urge to stop at a Christian Bookstore run by a beautiful man, who was also in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal with my mum. Mum asked him to pray over her and he did. She said she felt as if something was *taken *out of her… Mind you, she gave herself to God and told him ‘your will be done, not mine.’

We went to a Healing and Annointing Mass ** that **day i gave myself to God and as i fell down with the Holy Spirit for the very first time since going to the Healing Masses with mum - i felt God. It was like he had a feather and he brushed it across my lips. I was awake but i couldn’t move in a sense… I was dazed but not confused. Mum’s friend who is also a doctor was at that Mass and i asked her what they could do for mum and she looked at me, and with tears rolling down her face shook her head and said ‘sorry, nothing.’ I was devastated as my mum is my mum, sister, best friend, my everything! I begged God to give me just 10 more years…

I think within 2 weeks, we had more tests done and there was** no trace of any cancer whatsoever in any organ or any part of her body. ** Praise Jesus!

I panick now as it has already been 9 years…

So, yes i have seen a miracle with my own eyes!

I experience all kinds of little miracles, but I make no attempt to explain them, by science or any other means, but just accept them. As a general rule, however, I have found that when I see something, or hear about something, that on the surface seems to have no natural explanation, there is in fact a number of possibilities for natural causes, and in most cases, the natural explanation is merely hidden, rather than nonexistent.

The most recent example is that of an elderly religious sister who attended a healing service by a noted healing ministry team who was visiting our diocese (with the blessing of the bishop). She went to assist a friend but also to pray for herself, since she had a recent cancer diagnosis and was about to begin treatment. White roses were among the flowers present in the church, and those who received prayers were given rose petals as souvenirs. She kept two, one of which has a very clear brownish imprint, as a line drawing, of our Lady of Guadalupe, and one with has a distinct image of the Immaculate Heart. It is quite well known that a white rose petal when crushed or carried for a while will develop brown lines and stains, so yes, there is a possible natural explanation. The fact remains is that when she went to the cancer center to see the surgeon no trace of cancer could be found.

I witnessed a huge miracle today.

The priest at my church turned bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ!

This miracle happens so often and we witness it at least once a week that we have ceased to notice its miraculousness.

These all sound like wonderful miracles and I thank the Lord for everyone of them.

God Bless,
