OK, so there is this film I was thinking of seeing, because it is a much praised film and it sounds interesting, telling a tale rich in emotion . Its rated R, but the violence seems contained to only one or two scenes, and the language level is low for an R. But there is a lengthy nude scene that occurs in the film. I do not intend to watch the scene and indeed plant to skip over it and have read a plot synopsis so I know about what point of the film it occurs at. Would it still be wrong to watch the film even with a firm resolve to skip over the scene?

Little by little our souls will be stained of such ,scenes ,we humans are weak ,any time we could see them if the occasion arises ,by then we will justified it, as normal, and that there is nothing wrong with it ,also, think about other, in the family using them, you will not only harm yourself, but put other also in jeopardy.to avoid the occasions of sin,it is the best way out.Psalms 119:9 How can young people keep their way pure?By guarding it according to your word.10 With my whole heart I seek you;do not let me stray from your commandments.11 I treasure your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.12 Blessed are you, O Lord;teach me your statutes.

Have films like this been an occasion of sin for you in the past ? If so , don’t watch it .
