Littleness and little things

I’m starting to get an interest St. Therese of Lisieux’s Little Way, last month, I stumbled across two YouTube videos on St. Therese of Lisieux and they really helped me. I’m also doing Fr. Michael E. Gaitley’s Consecration to Divine Mercy, which is based off of St. Therese’s Merciful Love Oblation.

Right now, I’m struggling to do college work because I have this disordered guilt about how the world is going, I feel like I should be out there trying save souls, and college work seems so petty by comparison. However I know that, not only do I need to do little things now, so that I can do big things later, I also know that these little things can be great ways of showing my Love for God.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can do little things out of Love for God, as well as other tips on littleness, and St. Therese’s Little Way?

Have you heard of the sacrifice beads?

Get or make one of these. Try to do as many little sacrifices as there are beads, whether it’s studying for an hour longer than you want to, or saying something nice when someone is incredibly rude to you. Keep the beads in your pocket to keep the number you’ve done privately to yourself.
