Liturgy of the Hours Question

In the Liturgy of the Hours, when the intentions says to pray for “our bishop, N.” do I always pray for my bishop even when I’m on vacation, or should I pray for the local bishop wherever I am?

Minor question I know, but it’s interesting to me.

A priest offerring Mass prays for the bishop in whose diocese he is offering it - even if he is visiting. By parity of reasoning, it would seem that anyone praying the Hours - laity included, therefore - would do the same 🙂​

 
When in doubt just say “the Bishop of this Diocese” in place of “Bishop N.”
 
Thanks, that’s what I thought, but wanted to be sure.

demerzel, I may do that since I have no idea who the bishops of the dioceses I’ll be visiting next month are and I know I’ll forget to look.
 
It would be an act of charity to pray for both of them. Bishops need all the prayers they can get!

Well I know that for Priest entering rural areas and being unsure of jurisdiction use ‘the Bishop of this Diocese’ when they celebrate Mass. Yet I am assuming that the same applies for the LOTH.
