I haven’t been in one but I think they’re kind of neat, especially when a person I know who keeps camels in USA was bringing them to be part of the scene.
They seem to be mostly done by Protestant churches in the places where I’ve been, though. I just passed a Protestant church advertising one the other night while I was on my way to Mass.
Edited to add, I seem to recall there was an issue a couple years ago where some suburban parish had one and the cow (i think it was a cow) that was part of the scene got out and wandered around the neighborhood for a while till she was caught. She might have actually gotten out more than once.
