This may seem odd (maybe I’m one of the rare Catholics who doesn’t know this text) but I just wanted to share this resource with others. Though I had read several books by Maria von Trapp, I only came upon this one (Around the Year with the Trapp Family) last year. And EWTN provides it online for free! It’s a really neat look into old customs related to living the liturgical calendar and even if you find it weird or exacting or too detailed, I think it can motivate families to think about the customs and traditions they want to share all year long. It did in mine, anyway. So for what it’s worth…
