Anyone else dearly miss this website the past week? I hadn’t realized how much I enjoyed reading the wide array of information available and feeling the love and fellowship of this wonderful community accomplished through these threads. What other sites did you surf while this site was down? For politics I enjoy Freerepublic.com. How about you?
 
Me too! I was so sad that it was gone! I tried Life Teen’s website…but it just isn’t the same!
 
I missed it, but I got to read “The Faith of the Early Church Fathers.” 👍
 
While CAForums was down I purchased my own domain name. TheContemplative. I am in the process of constructing my own website. Stay tuned. You will all know when I publish!

I am glad CA Forums has returned. 😃
 
Yes, of course I did miss it, and you all. However, I did come to know more fully, the passage in Scripture whereby it states to not get too attached to anything in and of this world. This has been a reminder. That we all have a life to attend to, whether or not the forums are here or not. Think it’s a very good thing to be reminded of this.!!

I’ve been checking back every day, and hoping…TA DA, it’s finally here! :bowdown: Way to go, Brother and Sister network engineers!
 
Well, the shakes have finally passed now that CAF is back up.

I considered a 12 step program.

Seriously though, I am thinking (after this week) that maybe I DO spend too much time on the forums. :yup:
 
When I clicked on the CA forum icon on my tool bar, I fully expected to see the "server down " message. Almost choked on my tea when I got to the sign in page!!

First off Kathy----what are you doing drinking tea?😉 Perhaps, you weren’t thinking clearly due to your CAForum withdrawal?

I had the same reaction when the “server Down” message didn’t appear!!! I was right in the middle of posting when everything crashed last week!!!
 
I really missed it. I use CA to help plug the enormous holes in my Catholic understanding and faith. Having come into the Church in the late '70’s was the pits.
 
I missed everyone too!
I had to wait an extra day to come back, my phone line was disconnected an extra day.
(The line was disconnected from where the line comes in from the outside the apartment. We’ve had some storms here lately).

Now back and in full strength!
 
Wow- the server actually was down for everyone else??

I was out of town with my fam in Florida, and I had Net access through my mom’s laptop, but it was acting weird, so I only could get to a few sites.

I missed everyone! It’s just been really nice, being able to talk about life stuff with other Catholics. Everyone has just been so sweet and supportive. You all rock!!! 👍
