Lonely and heartbroken

I ask for anyone kind enough to pray for me. I’ve been feeling really depressed and lonely; I cry almost every night. I’m young in my late 20s and at time feel like giving up. Sometime I feel alone and that maybe God doesn’t hear me. I talk and pray to him. I just want my life to work out. I pray for the love of my life to open his heart and return to me. I don’t know what to do. It’s been two years praying for a man who hasn’t changed. I’m just hanging on hope but my faith is fading. Help!

I will be praying for you. I’ve recently divorced and at times feel sad and lonely. But in those moments of sadness I always turn to our Lord. I continue to be hopeful for a reconciliation with my husband and because of the divorce, my faith has gotten stronger. Please keep praying and remember, all in His time. And when you’re feeling this way again, know that you have all of us praying with you and for you.

Please be open to the fact that your idea of your life “working out” and God’s idea of it are not remotely alike: God has such better things in store for you than you can possibly imagine.
Stop clinging to your ideas about how things ought to be - a good friend once told me it’s like a child clinging to their broken toy. Unless we let it go, God can not “fix” it.
Your broken heart can be made new. Better. Beautiful and whole again.
I will pray for this for you.

Loving God,

Bless each one who suffers
from such loneliness.

or gentle stranger
who will spend a moment

I know its hard, I too went through that and for about 3 weeks all I did was cry…but there is a light at the end and praying will get you there. we feel weak, lonely and discouraged but praying will help, trust me. Cry if you have to, go to church and surround yourself with the beauty of God and everyone around him…it will give you a sense of peace and being here with the support of everyone on here will also help…don’t give up and keep praying.
